We are delighted to share some wonderful news regarding Master Sujith.
By the grace of God, the dedicated efforts of the medical team, and the incredible support and prayers from compassionate donors like you, Sujith's heart surgery was completed successfully. We are also happy to inform you that he was discharged from the hospital on Saturday last week and is now recovering well at home with his family.
For Sujith and his family, this marks the beginning of a new chapter filled with hope and renewed dreams. For years, Sujith lived with a serious heart condition while his family struggled to arrange the funds required for his treatment. As a family with limited financial resources, the burden of arranging life-saving surgery seemed impossible.
However, your generosity changed everything.
Your contributions did more than support a surgery – you gave Sujith a second chance at life. You gave a young boy the opportunity to return to school, play with his friends, pursue his dreams, and look forward to a healthy future.

Dear Donors/supporters,
Master Sujith is a 10-year-old boy from Chennai District, currently studying in Class 5 at a Government School. Like any child his age, he dreams of a bright future—but today, his life has taken an unexpected and serious turn.
At the age of one, Sujith had undergone a herniotomy surgery and had been growing up without any major health concerns. However, during a routine school health check-up, doctors detected a heart murmur. He was immediately referred to a free cardiac screening camp conducted at a Government Hospital in Chennai.
The medical team from MIOT Hospitals conducted an initial evaluation and advised further tests. After detailed investigations at MIOT Hospitals, Sujith was diagnosed with a Large Ostium Secundum Atrial Septal Defect (Large OS ASD)—a congenital heart defect where there is a hole in the wall separating the upper chambers of the heart.
This condition requires urgent medical attention. Doctors have recommended an elective ASD device closure procedure, which can correct the defect and prevent severe complications in the future, giving Sujith a chance at a normal and healthy life.
The total estimated cost for the treatment is ₹2,00,000, which includes:
Procedure cost
ICU and hospital stay
Post-operative investigations
Medicines and ongoing medical care
Sujith’s father, Mr. Arumugam, works as a mason and depends on irregular daily wage work, earning approximately ₹9,000 per month. With such limited and uncertain income, it is extremely difficult for the family to arrange the funds required for this life-saving treatment.
For this family, every single contribution matters.
