Jeevitha's heart surgery was successful, and she has now been discharged from the hospital. She is recovering well and has returned home with her family. Over the coming weeks, she will continue with regular follow-up consultations and medications as advised by her doctors.
Just a short while ago, Jeevitha was facing a life-threatening congenital heart condition that made every day uncertain for her family. Today, because of your generosity, she has been given a second chance at life and the opportunity to look forward to a healthy childhood filled with hope and dreams.
For Jeevitha's father, a daily wage agricultural labourer, arranging the cost of this life-saving surgery was simply impossible. Your kindness lifted an unbearable burden from their shoulders and reminded them that they were not alone in this difficult journey.

Dear Donors/Supporters,
Jeevitha is a 7-year-old girl from Krishnagiri District studying in Class 4 at a Government school. She was born with a congenital heart disease, but as she did not show any symptoms during her early years, the condition remained unnoticed for a long time.
During a routine health check-up conducted at her school, doctors suspected a heart problem and referred her to a free cardiac screening camp held at the Government Hospital in Krishnagiri. The medical team from MIOT International conducted an initial evaluation and advised her family to bring her to the hospital for further investigations.
After detailed medical tests, Jeevitha was diagnosed with Unicuspid Aortic Valve with Severe Aortic Stenosis — a serious congenital heart condition in which the aortic valve has only one leaflet instead of the normal three. Because of this defect, her heart struggles to pump blood effectively to the rest of the body. Without timely treatment, the condition can become life-threatening.
Doctors have advised Jeevitha to undergo an elective ROSS Procedure, a major and critical heart surgery that can help her live a healthy and normal life. The estimated cost for the surgery and treatment is Rs. 4,50,000/-, which includes surgery expenses, ICU and hospital stay, post-operative investigations, and medications.
Jeevitha’s father, Mr. Saminathan, works as a daily wage agricultural labourer earning around Rs. 600 per day only when work is available. His income is highly irregular, and there are many days when he returns home without any earnings. Managing the family’s daily expenses itself is a constant struggle, making it impossible for them to arrange such a huge amount for their daughter’s life-saving treatment.
