We are glad to inform you that baby Lathik has been admitted to the hospital today for his heart surgery. Following his admission, the medical team has begun detailed evaluations. Based on the post-admission medical assessments, the doctors will finalise the surgery date shortly. Considering his medical condition, the team is closely monitoring him and proceeding with utmost priority.
Your kindness and generosity have brought Lathik this far. The family is deeply grateful to each one of you for standing with them during this extremely challenging time. Your support has given them hope and strength when they needed it the most.

Dear Donors/Supporters,
Lathik, a 1-year-and-6-month-old little boy from Dindigul, has been fighting for his life from the very moment he opened his eyes to this world. When he was just one month old, he developed a dangerously high fever and severe diarrhoea. His terrified parents rushed him to a local clinic, where the doctor immediately sensed that something was terribly wrong. Suspecting a serious heart condition, the doctor referred him to a Government Hospital for detailed cardiac evaluation.
What followed was every parent’s worst nightmare.
At the Government Hospital, after a series of tests, little Lathik was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot – a complex and life-threatening congenital heart defect. The doctors advised his parents to seek advanced treatment in Chennai. In the midst of confusion, fear, and desperate hope, a family friend guided them to MIOT Hospitals, where a specialised paediatric cardiac team took over his care.
After thorough examinations, the team confirmed that Lathik urgently needs an early intracardiac repair surgery. This is not just a treatment – it is his only chance for survival. Without this surgery, his tiny heart cannot function normally, and the risks grow with every passing day.
The cost of this life-saving procedure is Rs. 3,50,000.
For most families, this is a significant amount. For Lathik’s parents, it is an impossible one. His father, Mr. Sivaguru, earns just Rs. 15,000 a month working in a supermarket. As the only breadwinner, he struggles daily to provide for their basic needs. The thought of arranging such a large sum has left the family emotionally shattered and financially helpless. They are watching their child suffer, with nothing but hope left to cling to.
Today, we stand with this frightened family and gently reach out to you.
