Hemashree has now been admitted to the hospital for her heart surgery, but her condition is critical and she is currently in the ICU. Doctors are closely monitoring her and preparing to complete her life-saving surgery.
Because of unexpected medical expenses, we are still short of ₹40,000 to complete her surgery. Your earlier support brought Hemashree this far, and at this crucial moment, she needs us once again.

Help Save Little Hemashree’s Heart
Two-year-old Hemashree from Chennai has been fighting for her life since the moment she was born. When she was just 2 days old, she suffered a severe hypocalcemic seizure due to dangerously low calcium levels and had to be rushed into the ICU. During this critical treatment, doctors discovered something even more alarming – Tetralogy of Fallot, a serious congenital heart defect.
At just 2 months old, she had another episode of low calcium. She was treated at a government hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with DiGeorge syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects the heart, immune system, and calcium regulation. Since then, Hemashree has been under continuous medical care, bravely fighting battles no child should ever face.
Recently, during a free heart screening camp at MIOT Hospitals, doctors evaluated her condition once again. They confirmed her earlier diagnosis and discovered additional complications – a right aortic arch, isolation of the left subclavian artery, and an atretic ductus. These abnormalities affect the blood flow through her tiny body and require surgical correction.
To save her life, doctors have recommended an elective intracardiac repair along with reimplantation of the left subclavian artery. This crucial surgery will help restore normal blood circulation and give Hemashree a chance to grow up healthy.
But the cost of this life-saving procedure is ₹3,65,000, an amount her family cannot afford.
Hemashree’s father, Mr. Manikandan, works as an electrician. His job is unstable, and his income is modest. Despite their tireless efforts, her parents are unable to arrange the surgery amount while also managing her ongoing medical expenses.
Today, they are reaching out to compassionate supporters for help.
