Description

Dear Donors/Supporters,

Baby Sai Siddharth, just five months old from Gummidipoondi in Thiruvallur district, began his life in a struggle. Born preterm with very low birth weight, he was unable to breathe on his own and had to be shifted immediately to a private hospital for ventilator support. His mother, who had waited months to hold her child, stood helplessly outside the NICU, watching her baby fight for every breath.

Before he could recognize his parents' faces or feel the warmth of home, he was already battling multiple health complications.

A Mother’s Pain and Fear

Every morning, Sai Siddharth’s mother waited anxiously for the doctors’ updates, hoping to hear even a small improvement. Instead, she heard words no mother is prepared for: “Your baby has a serious heart defect.”
She had dreamed of holding him, feeding him, and watching him smile. Instead, she saw monitors, tubes, and a tiny chest rising with difficulty.

A Complex Diagnosis That Needs Urgent Surgery

As his condition remained critical, the family went to a Government Hospital for further guidance. There, after evaluation, they were referred to MIOT Hospitals for advanced cardiac care. Specialists diagnosed him with:

  • Heterotaxy with levocardia

  • Atrial Septal Defect (ASD)

  • Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV)

  • Pulmonary Stenosis (PS)

  • Unobstructed Supracardiac TAPVC

Doctors have advised immediate TAPVC repair along with a Glenn procedure. Without timely surgery, his condition could worsen rapidly.

A Family Exhausted Emotionally and Financially

Sai Siddharth’s father, Mr. Nagaraj, works as a store assistant earning Rs. 15,000 per month. To save their newborn during his preterm crisis, the family has already spent around Rs. 1,00,000 by borrowing money and mortgaging their jewellery.
Now, with a treatment cost of Rs. 3,75,000, they have reached a point where they simply have no means left.

His mother says, “I carried him for nine months, but today I cannot save him without help. No mother should watch her child suffer like this.”

Your Support Can Save His Life

This little baby has fought bravely from the day he was born. One life-saving surgery stands between him and a chance at a healthy future. His parents cannot afford it alone.

Your contribution can:

  • Help him undergo the urgent heart surgery he needs

  • Remove the crushing financial burden from the family

  • Give a frightened mother hope and a newborn child the gift of life

Please come forward and help save baby Sai Siddharth. Every single contribution brings him one step closer to survival.
