Sujith Kumar, a 6-year-2-month-old boy from Chennai, has been bravely fighting a serious heart condition from a very young age.

At just 3 years old, Sujith suffered from a severe episode of cold and cough followed by a seizure. During his evaluation at a Government Hospital, doctors suspected an underlying heart problem. In 2023, detailed investigations at a private hospital confirmed a rare and complex condition — coronary artery fistula (LMCA to RA) — for which an urgent transcatheter closure procedure was recommended.

Unfortunately, due to financial hardships, his family was unable to proceed with the treatment at that time.

Now, Sujith is under the care of doctors at MIOT International, where the medical team has advised immediate intervention through a transcatheter closure of the coronary fistula to prevent further complications and give him a healthy future. The estimated cost of this life-saving procedure is ₹2,25,000.

Sujith’s father works as a painter, earning a modest and irregular income, which makes it extremely difficult for the family to arrange such a large amount in a short time. They are doing everything they can — but they cannot do this alone.
