Two-month-old Baby Sadhanya Sri should be sleeping peacefully in her mother’s arms and growing day by day. Instead, this tiny child is fighting a serious heart problem so early in her life.

Ms. Boomika and Mr. Vignesh Raj, a young couple from Chennai, were overjoyed when their daughter was born in a Government Hospital. But within one month, they heard an unusual murmur from her chest. Worried and frightened, they rushed from one hospital to another searching for answers.

After detailed evaluation at MIOT Hospitals, doctors diagnosed Sadhanya with Congenital Heart Disease – Large Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). This condition means a blood vessel in her heart has remained open after birth, forcing her little heart to work very hard. Doctors have advised urgent PDA ligation surgery to prevent heart failure, repeated infections, and poor growth.

Estimated Surgery Cost: Rs. 1,80,000

Sadhanya’s father, Mr. Vignesh Raj, works as a packer in a private company earning only Rs. 15,000 per month. As the only earning member, he is struggling to arrange funds for his daughter’s life-saving treatment.
