We are deeply grateful to share the wonderful news that Nasina’s heart surgery was successfully completed, and she was discharged from the hospital on Saturday, 25th October 2025, after a full recovery.

Nasina, a 17-year-old girl raised by her single mother, was admitted to the hospital on 15th October, and her life-saving surgery was performed on 17th October 2025. Thanks to your compassion and timely support, she has now returned home safely with new hope for her future.

Her mother, who works as a helper in a small belt-manufacturing unit, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to each of you:

“I lost my husband years ago, and I was terrified when I thought I might lose my only daughter too. But because of your kindness and support, my child’s heart beats strong again. I will never forget what you have done for us.”

Dear Donors/Supporters, 

K. Nasina, a 17-year-old schoolgirl from Ayanavaram, Chennai, should be preparing for her exams and dreaming of her future. Instead, she is battling a life-threatening heart condition.

During a routine school health camp, Nasina was found to have a serious cardiac problem. Detailed evaluations at KMC, Chennai, and MIOT International Hospital confirmed that she suffers from Severe Subaortic Stenosis due to Subaortic Ridge, along with Mild Aortic Regurgitation and Moderate LV Dysfunction.

Doctors have advised urgent heart surgery – Subaortic Ridge Excision ± Aortic Valve Repair to save her life.

Nasina’s life has been marked by pain and struggle. She lost her father, Mr. Kadar Basha, and now depends entirely on her mother, Mrs. Gowshiya Bee, who works as a helper in a small belt-manufacturing unit. With her meagre earnings, her mother is barely able to manage household expenses, let alone arrange the ₹3,25,000 needed for the surgery, ICU stay, hospital care, and post-operative treatment.

Despite these hardships, Nasina has always been a bright student with big dreams of continuing her studies and building a better future for her family. But now, her education and her future are at risk unless she receives this life-saving treatment.
