Dear Donors/supporters,
Maghizhini is just 2 years and 9 months old, yet her short life has already been a long battle for survival. Born with Down Syndrome and congenital heart disease, she has been fighting since she was just a month old. At age 2, doctors discovered another painful challenge — a duodenal membrane blocking the passage of food from her stomach to her intestines. This caused constant vomiting, severe discomfort, and poor weight gain. She underwent surgery at a government hospital, but her struggles didn’t end there.
With regular occupational therapy, her parents hoped things would improve. But during a free cardiac screening camp at MIOT Hospitals, doctors revealed devastating news — Maghizhini’s heart condition had worsened. She has now been diagnosed with Complete AVSD, Tetralogy of Fallot, and Pericardial Effusion. The only way to save her life is through an urgent surgery — Elective AVSD Repair and Relief of RVOTO. The cost of this life-saving procedure is ₹4,25,000, an amount far beyond what her family can afford.
Her father, Mr. Prathap, gave up his job to care for Maghizhini full-time, while her mother, Ms. Selvi, works as a nurse to support the family and manage daily medical expenses. Despite their strength and sacrifices, they cannot bear this overwhelming medical cost alone. Your support can gift Maghizhini the chance to live a healthy, happy childhood — something every child deserves. Every rupee matters, every share helps, and every prayer counts. Please come forward to help save her little heart.
