In the quaint corners of Thiruvallur district lives a young couple, Mr. Prashant and Thenmozhi, who were recently blessed with a baby. Just one month and six days old, their little one brought immense joy and hope into their lives. But this happiness was short-lived as an unexpected storm clouded their family’s horizon.

Their baby, born into a world of dreams and possibilities, has been diagnosed with a critical congenital heart defect known as unobstructed supracardiac TAPVC (Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection). This rare and severe condition affects the normal flow of blood to the heart, making immediate surgical intervention the only hope for survival.

The young father, Mr. Prashant, drives a private school van and earns ₹500 per day. Every rupee he makes is spent to provide for his small family, while Thenmozhi, a homemaker, dedicates herself to nurturing their precious child. Despite their relentless efforts and love, the estimated cost of the life-saving surgery, ₹4 lakhs, is an insurmountable amount for them.

The surgery, to be conducted at MIOT Hospital, Chennai, includes expenses for the procedure, ICU care, hospital stay, and medications. The cost is beyond what this humble family can afford, and they are left with no choice but to reach out for help.
