Dear Donors/Supporters,
In the tranquil village of Eswarakandanallur, nestled in the heart of Ulundurpet taluk, Tamil Nadu, a young boy named Pavinesh began his journey against a formidable foe at just 4 months old. Born to Padmanaban, a diligent farmer tending to the lush fields, and Malarvizhi, a devoted homemaker nurturing their household, Pavinesh’s early days were marred by recurrent battles with heart issues.
From infancy, Pavinesh endured frequent bouts of colds and respiratory distress, often receiving treatments from local traditional healers. However, despite these efforts, his condition did not show significant improvement. Recognizing the severity of his symptoms and seeking a beacon of hope, Pavinesh’s family ventured to a medical camp organized by MIOT International in Cuddalore.
Guided by the unwavering determination of Pavinesh’s grandfather, Sekar, the family embarked on a daunting journey from their serene village to the bustling city of Chennai. The road was long, and the challenges were many, but their hope for Pavinesh’s future kept them steadfast.
At MIOT Hospital, Pavinesh underwent a thorough evaluation by the medical team, who diagnosed him with a congenital heart condition that required immediate intervention. For a family rooted in simplicity and rural life, the complexity of Pavinesh’s medical needs presented an overwhelming financial burden.
Pavinesh P is diagnosed to have Large PDA left to right shunt, severe PAH.
He is advised to undergo Early device closure to PDA for the correction of the same.
