In a small village where dreams often get overshadowed by daily struggles, lives a courageous 7-year-old boy named Mobin. A second-grader with a heart full of aspirations, Mobin faces an extraordinary challenge that threatens his future. Born in Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Pondicherry, Mobin was diagnosed with a heart condition shortly after his birth—a condition doctors initially believed would heal on its own. However, as Mobin grew, the condition worsened, turning his days of play into periods of severe pain.

Mobin's parents, Sivasakthi and Muthulakshimi, work tirelessly to provide for their family. Sivasakthi earns between 300 to 500 rupees a day as a daily wage laborer on construction sites, while Muthulakshimi earns 200 rupees a day working on farmland. Despite their relentless efforts, the burden of Mobin's medical needs has become overwhelming.

Recently, Mobin's chest pains intensified, compelling his parents to seek urgent medical attention. At a government hospital, they were directed to a medical camp organized by MIOT Hospital. There, doctors confirmed that Mobin’s heart condition was severe and required immediate surgery.

Mobin has been diagnosed with Small Perimembranous VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect) and Small Ostium Secundum ASD (Atrial Septal Defect). He needs to undergo an elective device closure procedure for both ASD and VSD to correct these defects. The estimated cost of the procedure, including surgery, ICU and hospital stay, post-operative investigations, and medications, is Rs. 2,00,000.

This expense is far beyond what Mobin’s family can afford. We are reaching out to compassionate hearts and generous souls to rally behind Mobin in his time of need.
