In the quiet village of Krishnagiri district, Kailasam, a humble carpenter, works tirelessly to provide for his family. With an income of just ₹8,000 a month, he struggles to make ends meet, but his heart is full of love for his wife and their 4-year-old daughter, Kaviya Sri.

Kaviya is a bright, joyful child, her laughter filling their small home with warmth. But behind her cheerful demeanor lies a heartbreaking struggle. Kaviya was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a rare and severe heart condition that has shadowed her young life. In addition, she suffers from Aplasia of both forearms and an absent thumb, symptoms of Holt–Oram syndrome, a disorder that has left her with underdeveloped limbs and a fragile heart.

As Kaviya grew, it became clear that her condition was worsening. Doctors at MIOT Hospital recommended an urgent intracardiac repair surgery—a complex procedure that could save her life. The cost of the surgery, including ICU care, hospital stay, and post-operative treatment, is estimated at ₹3,25,000, an amount far beyond Kailasam’s reach.

Despite the enormous financial burden, Kailasam has never given up hope. Every day, he works with determination, crafting furniture with his skillful hands, while praying for a way to save his daughter. But with his meager income, even basic needs are hard to meet, and the cost of Kaviya’s surgery seems like an impossible dream.
