Help Little Priyadharshini Get Her Life-Saving Heart Surgery

Twelve-year-old Priyadharshini from Thiruvannamalai has been fighting a life-threatening heart condition since she was just a baby. Her parents still remember those early days — when their cheerful seven-month-old suddenly became weak, struggling to breathe, with her tiny heart beating irregularly.

They rushed from one hospital to another, praying for a miracle. When a doctor finally told them that their little girl had a hole in her heart, their world fell apart. Her father, Mr. Mannangatti, an agricultural labourer, and her mother didn’t know what to do or how to save their only daughter.

Through her uncle’s help, they reached MIOT Hospital, where doctors confirmed that Priyadharshini suffers from a rare and severe condition — Aortopulmonary Window with Severe Pulmonary Hypertension. The only hope to save her life is an urgent open-heart surgery to close the AP Window.

The treatment, however, costs Rs. 3,00,000 — an unimaginable amount for a father who earns his living through daily wages in the fields.
