We’re thrilled to inform you that Baby Deepthi has been discharged from the hospital! She is now under observation from outside the hospital, and her doctors are closely monitoring her INR count. The good news is that it’s stabilizing and improving every day.

With this steady progress, we’re hopeful that Deepthi will make a full recovery soon and will be able to start school—a moment her family has been dreaming of!

Great News About Baby Deepthi – Thank You for Your Support!

We are thrilled to share that Baby Deepthi has been moved to the normal ward from the MICU after undergoing serious evaluations and an angiogram test. Her heart is improving well, and she continues to show steady progress.

Deepthi is still under close monitoring for the next few days, but if all goes well, we hope she will be discharged from the hospital soon. Her surgery has been postponed for a few months, as doctors want her condition to stabilize further before proceeding.

We wanted to share an update on Baby Deepthi’s health and thank you sincerely for your generous support. Your contribution has been a tremendous help to Deepthi and her family during this challenging time.

Deepthi is currently still in the MICU, showing remarkable strength despite her critical condition. A new 4mm blood clot has formed in her heart, which is now functioning at only 19% according to yesterday’s report. Her dedicated team of doctors is administering medication to help dissolve the clot, and they are monitoring her closely.

We expect to receive more details regarding the blood clot and her next treatment steps tomorrow and will keep you informed. Your timely contributions have been invaluable, enabling Deepthi’s family to pursue the best possible care for her recovery.

In the peaceful town of Nagercoil, 3.5-year-old Deepthi has known more hospital visits than playgrounds. Born with a serious heart condition, she has faced health challenges since her first days in this world. Her parents, Daniel and Shanthini, have spent countless nights by her side, watching her struggle but hoping each time that things might get easier for their brave little girl.

For Deepthi, life has been a series of hospital admissions due to her fragile heart. Her family’s journey reached a critical point a few months ago when they managed to gather funds for a major heart surgery. They were filled with hope that it might bring relief. Daniel, who works as a building laborer earning Rs. 800 per day, and Shanthini, who also works for daily wages, gave everything they had. But although the surgery was initially a success, it left Deepthi’s health more fragile than before, worsening her condition. Now, she urgently needs another open-heart surgery within the next two days to survive.

Deepthi is currently in the ICU at Sree Chitra Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, and the doctors have estimated that this surgery will cost Rs. 3-4 lakhs. Her parents have exhausted all their funds, sitting by her side with no resources left, but with hope as strong as ever. They know that time is running out, and they are turning to others for help.

Every bit of support, whether through donations or sharing her story, could be the key to giving Deepthi a future without constant hospital visits. Her family is reaching out, trusting in the kindness of others to help save their little girl.
