A Heartfelt Appeal for Amos M. – A Young Boy in Need of Life-Saving Surgery
Name: Amos M.
Age: 8 Years, 5 Months
Mother’s Name: Ms. Kalpana (Homemaker)
Father’s Name: Mr. Muni Krishnan (Mason, earning ₹600 per day)
Dear Donors/Supporters,
We write to you with an earnest plea for support to save the life of Amos M., an 8-year-old boy with a radiant smile and a promising future. Despite his tender age, Amos has faced an uphill battle against congenital heart disease since birth.
Born in a government hospital, Amos’s health took a critical turn just 20 days after his birth. He was rushed to a private hospital for emergency care, where he was stabilized. However, his journey with heart complications has continued, placing an immense burden on his family.
In 2023, during a cardiac screening camp organized by MIOT International Hospitals, Amos was diagnosed with Severe LVOT obstruction caused by a subaortic membrane, Mild AR, LVH, and normal LV function. After further consultations, doctors advised immediate Elective surgery to relieve LVOT obstruction, perform subaortic membrane resection, and repair the aortic valve. This surgery is critical to prevent life-threatening complications and to ensure that Amos can lead a normal and active life.
The total cost of Amos’s surgery has been estimated at ₹3,00,000—a sum that is well beyond his family’s means. His father, Mr. Munikrishnan, is a daily wage laborer earning ₹600 per day, struggling to meet the basic needs of his family of five. With no savings or financial aid, they are unable to bear the cost of this essential treatment.
Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a monumental difference in Amos’s life. Together, we can ensure that this brave young boy gets the timely medical intervention he needs to grow, thrive, and achieve his dreams.
We appeal to your kindness and generosity to come forward and help Amos. Your support will not only save his life but also bring hope and relief to a family that has endured so much.
With regards,
