Thashvik M is a bright and cheerful 6-year-old boy from Lalgudi, near Trichy. Born in July 2019, he brought immense joy to his family. However, their happiness was short-lived when they discovered his congenital heart condition at just three months old. After his first immunization cycle, he developed a high fever. Alarmed, his parents took him to the doctor, who diagnosed him with a severe heart defect. Looking back, they recall noticing his rapid heartbeat at birth but had hoped it would improve on its own.
In 2021, Thashvik underwent his first major heart surgery at MIOT Hospitals.

The medical team successfully performed the Damus-Kaye-Stansel Procedure and an Atrial Septectomy, giving him a new lease on life. Despite the challenges, he fought bravely and brought hope to his family.
Now, at 6 years old, Thashvik needs a second, crucial surgery—a Fontan completion. This procedure is essential to improve his heart's functionality and ensure a better quality of life. The estimated cost of this life-saving surgery, including ICU and hospital stay, post-operative investigations, and medications, is Rs. 4,50,000.

Muruganantham, Thashvik’s father, works as a carpenter and earns Rs. 700 per day. While he works tirelessly to provide for his family, his unstable income is insufficient to cover the high medical expenses. Revathi, his mother, is a dedicated homemaker, focusing all her energy on caring for Thashvik and her family. The family’s financial constraints make it impossible for them to afford the surgery on their own. They have already exhausted their limited savings and are now reaching out to kind-hearted individuals and organizations for assistance.
