Mr. Loganathan and Ms. Thamaraiselvi, proud parents residing in Chennai district, were blessed with twin daughters in 2022 after enduring nine years of marital life and undergoing IVF treatment. Their joy was, however, tempered by concern when one of their twins, Baby Dhanshika Shree, was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect during a routine check-up for low weight at the tender age of six months.

Despite seeking treatment at various government hospitals, Baby Dhanshika’s condition showed no significant improvement. A glimmer of hope came when they attended a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospital, where she was diagnosed with a Large Ostium Secundum ASD, requiring urgent surgical intervention. The estimated cost of this life-saving surgery is Rs. 2,00,000/-.

Mr. Loganathan works in a private concern, earning a monthly salary of Rs. 20,000/-, which barely suffices to meet the family's daily needs. The family’s financial situation has been further strained by the Rs. 8,00,000/- spent on the IVF treatment that brought their daughters into their lives. With no savings left, they are unable to afford the cost of their child’s critical surgery.
