Varshini, a 1-year-and-7-month-old girl from Tiruvannamalai district, is bravely battling multiple life-threatening health conditions at a tender age. Her journey has been incredibly challenging, starting at just 10 months old when she was diagnosed with bronchopneumonia. Further evaluations revealed she suffers from:

• Severe coarctation of the aorta

• Partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection (PAPVC) of left-sided pulmonary veins to the innominate vein

• Mild obstruction to the right lower pulmonary vein

Her treating doctors at MIOT Hospitals have recommended an urgent, lifesaving surgical intervention. The planned procedure includes:

• Coarctation repair

• Re-routing of left-sided pulmonary veins to the left atrium (LA)

• Inspection and potential correction of the right lower pulmonary vein

Financial Struggle

The total cost of Varshini’s surgery is estimated at ₹3,50,000/-. However, her father, Mr. Rajesh, a welder earning a modest monthly income of ₹7,000, is unable to bear this overwhelming expense. As the sole breadwinner, he is already grappling with the grief of losing their first child and the immense emotional and financial burden of saving Varshini's life.
