Asha is 33 years old.  Life started with a disturbed childhood because of an alcoholic father. She started work at a young age of 15, working as a cook for a family in Bangalore to support her family.  After her marriage to Mohan, an electrician, she settled down in Bangalore with her husband.  When she developed hypertension in her 6th month of pregnancy, she discontinued working and the doctors advised her to undergo a caesarean as a protection for her health. The baby, named Magathi, was born premature weighing 1800 gms in June 2023. 

In about a month, soon after she entered motherhood, Asha suffered a stroke.  Due to this, Asha  continues to have speech disability and cannot talk a sentence fluently.  As her health deteriorated, unable to take care of herself and the baby, Asha and Mohan came to Chennai where her mother and sister live. 

On a friends recommendations they went to Pondicherry for treatment. It was there that she was diagnosed with a serious heart problem. She was directed to MIOT International for treatment.

Asha is diagnosed to have Mass on the aortic valve leaflets (? Papillary Fibroelastoma), narrow aortic annulus and LVOT, moderate aortic stenosis, moderate aortic regurgitation. 

She is advised to undergo Surgery: Ross Konno procedure (pulmonary aortograft aortic root replacement and LVOT enlargement) for correction of the same. 

Estimate Cost – Rs.5,00,000 (Rupees Five Lakhs only)   including surgery, ICU & Hospital stay, Post op investigations and medications

Please help Asha, and her small family – it would be a great wish granted for this family as they are in a very anxiety ridden and stressful situation.
