Urgent Appeal to Save Little Kalish’s Life

Kalish, a brave 4-year-old boy from Dharmapuri district, has been battling a severe congenital heart condition since birth. Despite their limited means, his parents have sought medical help tirelessly, consulting various government hospitals and doctors over the years. In 2021, during a free cardiac screening camp conducted by MIOT Hospitals at Dharmapuri Government Hospital, Kalish’s critical condition was identified. This marked the beginning of a challenging journey for his family.

Following a detailed evaluation, Kalish was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) and a large sub-aortic maligned VSD. He underwent a TOF repair surgery at MIOT Hospitals, which was a significant milestone in his treatment. However, Kalish now urgently requires cardiac catheterization and Bilateral PA stenting to ensure his recovery and improve his quality of life. The estimated cost for this life-saving procedure is Rs. 3,00,000/-, an amount that is far beyond the family’s financial capacity.

Kalish’s father, Mr. Elayaraja, works as a painter and is the sole breadwinner of the family, earning a modest income of Rs. 6,000/- per month. To add to their challenges, Kalish’s mother, Ms. Santhi, is currently nine months pregnant, which further intensifies the family’s emotional and financial struggles.

Despite their hardships, Kalish’s parents remain hopeful and determined to provide him with the medical care he desperately needs. They are now reaching out to kind-hearted individuals like you to help save their son’s life.
