A week ago, Mahendran was going back to work but unfortunately vehicle behind him dashed on his bike and he lost balance and hit his head on the nearby divider. He lost conscious.

He was taken to Government hospital, Coimbatore but as the condition was too critical he was then admitted to Ramakrishna hospital where the doctors diagnosed and said Mahendran suffers severe brain damage with blood clot, his left leg is broke, fracture on right shoulders and injury on right eye.

Mahendran is the sole earner in his family with aged father and medically ill sister. He was the one taking care of his family but now his family is struggling hard to pay his bills. Currently, he is with ventilator support and other medical expense alone costs Rs.50,000 per day and the doctors have told he should be under support for at least another 10 days.
