On March 5, 2018, at 5 p.m. Two students from Erode Sengunthar Engineering College  met with bike accident at Satterpuram, Perundurai. Unfortunately one student (T.Perumal, 21,B.E ECE) passed away on the spot and another student (P.Deepak,21,B.TECH.,Chemical) suffered severe head injury and now admitted at KMCH specialty hospital, Erode.
