Pratap, a dedicated father and husband, had been working as a contract worker at Hyundai Steels in Tiruvallur District. Unfortunately, being a temporary worker, he was recently laid off and is hopeful for renewal of his contract soon. In the meantime, Pratap is taking up any available daily wage jobs to support his family.

During Arthi's pregnancy, in her fifth month, they were informed that their unborn baby might have heart issues. They were reassured that these issues would be treatable and were advised to have the delivery at the Women and Children Hospital in Chennai to ensure the best care for both mother and child.

Medical Condition:

After Dhivikshan was born, he was immediately put on medication. However, a year later, the parents were informed that surgery would be necessary. They initially sought help at the Children's Hospital Egmore but faced delays. Their family pediatrician then advised them to visit MIOT Hospitals for treatment.

Dhivikshan has been diagnosed with:

- Double Chambered Right Ventricle (DCRV)

- Large Perimembranous VSD with Inlet extension

- Moderate RVOTO

- Grade II MR

He requires an elective surgery for DCRV repair and Mitral Valve Repair. 

Estimated Cost:

The total estimated cost for the surgery, including ICU stay, hospital stay, post-operative investigations, and medications, is Rs. 3,00,000 (Rupees Three Lakhs).
